On Saturday, July 17th, the Pittsburgh office is excited to be hosting a BUILD Training – Buddies United In Leadership Development – for all local Buddy Directors.
Buddy Directors are officers within their chapters who provide guidance, leadership, and knowledge from the Buddies’ perspective.
The BUILD Program is a Best Buddies program that enhances the lives of participants with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for leadership development and self-advocacy.
Participants will be trained on how to utilize the Buddy Director position to their fullest potential.
The training will be held at the Pittsburgh office and will be lead by Best Buddies staff. All local Buddy Directors from area High School and College chapters are invited to attend.
