Participants and representatives from some of our college chapters line up and showcase their well deserved 2009-2010 awards during the 2010 Eastern Pennsylvania Best Buddies Colleges Ball.

On Sunday April 11th, 2010 ten college chapters from Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey gathered together at the Inn at Towamencin to celebrate another successful year of one-to-one matches through Best Buddies Pennsylvania.
This was the 15th year that Eastern PA college chapters have gathered to celebrate another successful year of friendships.
Over 330 participants attended the ball for a wonderful night of food, awards, music and dancing. This year’s ball was hosted by the Ursinus College Best Buddies chapter which spent an entire year working to raise funds and throw a spectacular event for so many Best Buddies participants in Eastern PA.
In addition to celebrating another successful year of one-to-one friendships the Ball also provided an opportunity to recognize the hard work and dedication of individuals that went above and beyond to truly fulfill the mission of Best Buddies.
This year, a total of 13 awards were presented recognizing the hard work of chapter officers and advisors. Congratulations to all award winners as well as future award winners which will be presented during the Pittsburgh and Eastern PA High Schools Balls.
The Pittsburgh Ball will be held Saturday April 24th, 2010. The Eastern PA High Schools Ball will be held Saturday May 8th.
